Jacquelyn Jablonski
Her career has only just begun and already the American top model Jacquelyn Jablonski is receiving top honors. At only 18, this pretty brunette, presently the face of Céline and D&G for spring/summer 2010, can hope for a brilliant future.

Her uncommon first name, given to her by a mother who had always admired Jacqueline Kennedy, made it possible for her to stand out from the beginning from the other models of her generation. In the casting jungle, this little detail can be worth its weight in gold, something that she understood: every time someone told her she should use her nickname, Jacky, she persevered in keeping her full name, and it seems to be bringing her luck.
Everything began in 2007 for this American New Jersey girl (of Polish, German and Irish origins) when she was discovered in a café by a talent scout. Accompanied by her mother, she went to New York to do some photos that soon found their mark at the Ford agency. A short while later, Jablonski succeeded in becoming a finalist in the Ford Supermodel of the World competition.

The problem was that the young girl was only 16 at the time and her status as a minor did not let her start modeling full time. Obliged to stay in school, she followed with envy the fashion weeks (via Style.com) in which she could not participate. She was able, however, to pose for the Calvin Klein Jeans fall/winter 2009 campaign.
This frustrating period did not last long. After graduation, she made up for time spent finishing her studies and appeared in no less than 58 shows. In order to make it through, she leaned on the support of her agency as well as on her friendships with the other models.

Caught up in the middle of the action, Jablonski realized that the modeling business did not have a lot in common with the image she had of it until then. It was much more atypical and intense than she ever imagined.
This young, charming, freckled woman may have literally monopolized the last two seasons of fashion weeks, had the privilege to walk in Chanel's haute couture show in January, made the covers of Russh and Cover, and posed for W, V Magazine, Harper's Bazaar and even for Alexander Wang's look book (among others), yet she remains a young adult barely out of childhood.

For example, she continues to have yogurt with cereal for breakfast, adores chocolate cookies, and anything with peanut butter. She also admits to being a poor packer, does not like putting on make up and is content with washing her face morning and night as a beauty ritual.
Otherwise, her agenda is more than full and the critics about her very promising, yet she remains humble. According to her mother, her ability to keep her feet on the ground in any circumstances comes from spending her childhood with her autistic brother.

As for her look, Balenciaga is among her favorites. Her silhouette allows her to easily slip into Ghesquière's skinny pants, and she would be wrong to deprive herself.
Contrary to some of her colleagues who immediately change into grunge or 100%-cool after the shows, Jablonski prefers to always be well dressed in order to make a good impression on those she meets, and to avoid finding photos of her on the Internet wearing a fashion-don't.
Ultra professional and gifted with a hypnotizing cold beauty, the newest recruit of the Supreme agency has only just begun.
