Knits by Lilly Marthe Ebener

Green fashion may be in full sail, but the labels that succeed in mixing ecological principles with attractive design remain relatively rare. So when a young stylist decides to create a line of soft knits with an irresistibly cozy charm, all of it made according to European ecological standards, we have no choice but to give in.

Knits by Lilly Marthe Ebener

Lilly Marthe Ebener, a photo stylist for houses such as Cartier, Louis Vuitton and even MAC, succeeded in developing a relatively sharp vision through her work of what determines whether a piece has any potential or whether it has a casual but desirable quality. It is not surprising that her knits, taking their inspiration from her numerous travels, prove to be obviously attractive.

Forget overly subtle, convoluted pieces - the accent here is on the fiber quality, the knit and the handiwork. Making it a point to offer a high quality product, Ebener produces her knits in a blend of silk and alpaca (a fiber known for its finesse, warmth and resistance). This allows her to give her pullovers, cardigans, and snoods a warm aspect overflowing with authenticity.

The clean lines of these large weave knits fit perfectly with the cocooning desires floating on the wish lists of the moment. The mid-season trench could be easily replaced by this opulent poppy red vest, which would go very well with a pair of flared jeans or a minimalist, trapeze-cut camel skirt.

The slightly oversized, English ribbed pullovers - in navy blue or porcelain gray - are perfect to "casualize" a strict pencil skirt or narrow-cut dress pants worn with a pair of pumps.

Knitted in Germany, these little bits of softness are produced using an environmentally respectful processes. It has never been so guilt-free to give into a designer piece.
