The Lanvin-for-H&M Wish List
03 11 2010The wardrobe of the year-end masstige event has been unveiled in its entirety. The collaboration between the women's wear darling, Alber Elbaz, and the trendy low-cost fashion temple, H&M, has finally proven itself desirable.

Whether to try on one of the Elbaz dresses, or to fill up on the smaller pieces and fashion accessories goodies, the style-mongers will turn out in droves to line up in front of the H&M stores on November 23.
For many, the whimsical Elbaz printed t-shirts are worth the wait, even if it seems (at first sight) that the display models with their girly drawings could have been better made. They will nevertheless always be a welcome addition to dress down a pencil skirt or funk up a slim jean/high heels combo.

The jewelry should be left to the younger fans, but the pumps with the wide flat bows deserve to be examined more closely as they could Lanvin-ize our wardrobe. The silver heels, however, clashing with the sophistication of the rest of the shoe, leave us a bit perplexed.
It seems that a detour to the men's side of the closet was made to find a leopard print bow tie to be worn as a headband or a broach.
The rest of the collection, whose fashion value is less clear, is to be checked out in person.
Pumps, approximately 70 euros; t-shirts, 30 euros
