Sex and the City 3?

Listening to Kristin Davis (one of the actresses that make up the Sex and the City girl quartet), we could be led to believe that there will be a Sex and the City 3. Here's hoping that it is only a rumor...

It seems that the numerous bad critics that covered the second cinematographic opus of the television series, Sex and the City, were not enough to convince the protagonists to turn the page - far from it. Some, in fact, are already thinking of heading back to the studios to make a third chapter.

However, given the last episode of the saga, we doubt more than ever the capacity of the scriptwriters to come up with ideas that could measure up to a fraction of those of Darren Star, the series' creator. As a result of wanting to make a big show by focusing everything on an avalanche of couture pieces, they seemed to have lost their way and ended up transforming the little HBO jewel into highly caricatured marathon film ultimately void of interest.

The possibility of doing it a third time runs the high risk of not generating any excitement. The numerous fans from the beginning would probably prefer to satisfy themselves with their DVD collections of Sex and the City, without having to watch their favorite heroine become ridiculous on the big screen, scratching away more and more at her image of the liberated fashionista...
